The Wee Trio is on tour. We are having a great time in the Midwest, and a special blog is being posted online @ Wee Trio Blog
Happy new year to everyone! I hope '07 treated you well and wish you the best in '08. One of my resolutions is to actually update my site more than once a month. Gigs will go up quicker and new sound clips/pictures will be up more frequently. Best to everyone!
I put up some new tracks from the Brian Vanarsdale Quintet album coming out soon. I'm really how that album came out... take a listen. Also added a track from the Jack Donahue album "A Small Blue Thing" which features Fred Hersch on piano. Pictures from the Dan Loomis Quartet tour are up as well. Gigs are updated. Keepin busy....
Hope everyone and everything is well. August has been cool. I spent three days in Baltimore playing at the inaugural Paetec Jazz Festival in downtown Baltimore, then the next day (my birthday) playing at the inaugural 405 jazz fest in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The first was with Paradigm Shift, the perennial organ trio based in Rochester, NY, and the latter was with the newly named Wee Trio (with James Westfall on vibraphone and Dan Loomis on bass). Have been gigging in Philadephia and Newport, Rhode Island as well this month. Good travel month. Next month promises to be great as the Dan Loomis Quartet tours 3/4 of the continental United States. Gigs will be posted up soon, so if you are close, stop on by!
